In 1886, the Crow family moved from dwellings #301 and #346 in Duffers Gully to dwelling #14 in Terrace Road. The thre children were enrolled at Bannockburn school on April 10 1886.

338 1890 Jacob was manager of Carrick Race Company

Jacob Crow was manager of the Carrick race Company . He extended the race one and a half miles back up to the second branch of Coal Creek. This was the section that was cut uphill. The race was finally corrected, but never flowed very well.

Jacob and his daughter Mary moved to Kaitangata to look for job opportunities. They stayed with their friends the Ramsays. While they were away, Jane contracted typhoid and was nursed by her father Issac.

342 1895 Death of Jane

On Feb 12th, Jane Crow died of typhoid at the age of 46 years, and is buried in the Cromwell cemetery. Jacob had a watch chain made from her hair.

345 1900 Marriage of Mary Abigail Crow

On March 15 1900 Mary Abigail Crow, aged 23, married Henry Clyde Parcell, aged 34. The marriage took place in dwelling #14. The officiating minister was the Rev. Thomas Tait. The witnesses were William Parcell and Annie Isabella Crow. Mary and Henry lived in dwelling #14, while Annie moved to Frankton where she worked as a nurse in the Frankton hospital. William moved to Queenstown where he worked as a storeman.

346 1901 Death of William Crow

On Sept 14 1901, William Crow died of phthisis (tuberculosis) in Frankton hospital, at the age of 21 years. He is buried in the Cromwell cemetery.
