Up until 1943 the old Cairnmuir Road had a ford crossing Bannockburn Creek. The Vincent County Council then installed the culvert. Around 1947 the culvert was washed away by a flood. In 1948, the road was realigned further south on higher ground, with a new bridge (location #400) constructed over the Bannockburn Creek. |
