Record of coal carted by Richard Toms to No 1. Crewe Dredging Company - Lower Nevis. The coal was from Scott's Mine at Dell Creek, situated north of the Nevis Crossing bridge. Coal bags were jute chaff sacks, 12 bags per ton - 187 lb (412 kg) 7 shillings per ton.
