Remains of the Junction Electric No 1 (A) * Gold Dredge Right bank Kawarau River. Near Cairnmuir homestead (dwelling #268). The dredge is facing upstream, the wheel to drive the tailings elevator is on the stern section (RHS of photo) * note - this was the second No 1 Dredge - it was replaced by another No 1 (B). There was also a No 2 and No 3 dredge * note - the original No 1 Junction Electric was the 'old' Electric Company's No 1 dredge which was dismantled in 1900
