1662 1913 Johnathan Radford purchased the property from the crown. On 8 Nov, it appears from the land certificate that Mr J Radford purchased the property from the crown. The Radford family may well have come to Bannockburn from Waipiata (mentioned in school records as the previous location of the family) About this time it appears that Mr Radford had the original part of dwelling #109 (constructed of timber and iron) shifted from the Kawarau Gorge on a sledge to it's present site.
1663 1920 Mr Radford sold dwelling #109 to Robert Cowan. Mr Radford sold dwelling #109 to Mr Robert Black Cowan, a miner from Gibbston. Mr Radford and his family moved to Lowburn and purchased a farm.
1665 1921 on 2 Nov, Mr Cowan sold dwelling #109 to Mrs M S M Ellis. on 2 Nov, Mr Cowan sold dwelling #109 to Mrs M S M Ellis. Mr Cowan moved to Cromwell.
1667 c1922 Dwelling #109 was extended. Mrs Ellis had dwelling #109 extended and renovated. One addition was the sewing room on the north side.
1669 1922 Miss McWhirter, Mrs Ellis's niece came to live with her as a companion. The niece of Mrs Ellis, Miss Isabella McWhirter, came to live with her as a companion.
1670 1924 Miss McWhirter left dwelling #109 Miss McWhirter left dwelling #109 and moved to Dunedin.
1675 1921 General Notes Charles moved to dwelling #109 with his mother after the death of his father Mr John Ellis. He worked in Bowes grocery store in Cromwell. Charlie enjoyed helping Ted Lawrence of dwelling #106 to groom his horses. Later in life, Charles Ellis married his wife Ann, who he had met at a church organisation they both belonged to. This was the no-name church, the Coonyites.
1677 1945 Charles and Ann continued to live with Mrs Ellis. Mrs & Mrs Charles Ellis continued to live with Mrs Mary Sarah may Ellis until her death in 1945. She died on 5 Dec, and she is buried in the Cromwell cemetery.
1678 1947 Mr Kitto purchased dwelling #109 from the estate of Mrs Ellis. On 30 Apr 1947, Mr E J Kitto purchased dwelling 3109 from the estate of Mrs M S M Ellis.
1679 1947 General Notes Mr Kitto returned home to Lowburn after serving in World War 2 as an army driver in the desert war. On 30 April he purchased dwelling #109 from the estate of Mrs M S M Ellis. He was married to Rata Dorothy Ritchie who was the daughter of James and Eleanor Ritchie of Carrick Station. Miss Ritchie had worked in Dunedin as a seamstress, and continued to take in sewing and alteration work after her marriage. Mrs Kitto's mother, Mrs Eleanor Marion Ritchie, the widow of James Ritchie came to live with the couple for some time before she purchased dwelling #79 and moved to there. Mr Kitto worked as a farm labourer and a rabbiter. He later worked for the Bannockburn Pest Destruction Board. Dwelling #109 was upgraded for Mr Kitto. The veranda and steel framed windows were added. The building was re-clad in cement based plaster by Mr Frank Fitzgerald (dwelling #148). The garage was built by Mr Kitto. The mud bricks were made by Errol and Rata with material from an old mining claim behind the property (now the Bannockburn Domain).
1682 1989 On 3 Sep 1989, dwelling #109 was sold to Mrs G Ritchie. On 3 Sep 1989, dwelling #109 was purchased from Mr Kitto by Mrs G Ritchie by way of a mortgage.
1684 c1948 Mrs Eleanor Ritchie came to live in dwelling #109 with her daughter Rata and her husband Errol Kitto. Mrs Eleanor Ritchie came to live in dwelling #109 with her daughter Rata and her husband Errol Kitto.
1685 c1951 Mrs Eleanor Ritchie moved from dwelling #109 to dwelling #79. About this time Mrs Eleanor Ritchie purchased dwelling #79 and moved there, living with her eldest daughter Mildred.
1687 1996 Dwelling #109 was sold to Mr Rodney Inglis. After a marriage breakup, dwelling #109 was sold to Mr Rodney Inglis.
1689 1998 Dwelling #109 sold to Messrs R A Day and G J Mitchell On 18 Feb 1998 Mr inglis sold dwelling #109 to Messrs Robert A Day and G J Mitchell. Mr Inglis then purchased the Cromwell stock car racing complex in Ripponvale which included a dwelling that he moved into.
1691 1999 The property was put on the market but did not sell. The property was put on the market in October when Messrs Mitchell and Day purchased a hotel in Akaroa, Duvachelle - Barrys Bay area.
1692 2000 The property remained unsold. The property did not sell at auction and remained on the market empty.
1693 2000 Mr & Mrs Watson purchased dwelling #109 as a holiday cottage. Mr & Mrs Watson purchased dwelling #109 as a holiday cottage.
