1876 1882 Advertisement in the Cromwell Argus On 21 Mar 1882 Mr J Peake advertised his shoeing forge in the township of Bannockburn.
1875 1886 Advertisement from Cromwell Argus. In July of 1886, the following advertisement appeared in the Cromwell Argus. " J P begs to inform the public of Bannockburn and district that he has resumed business in his old premises opposite the Carrick range Hotel and requests the favour of their patronage "
