| 2567 | 1880 | Location of Water Race Pipeline | From Jones / Long Alex Gully terrace, then north west through Birnies Gully, under Birnies Creek and Jones Creek. The north under Gully Road, north west parallel to Gully Road, up Jones / Parcell Gully ridge. |
| 2568 | 1880 - c1920 | General notes. | Originally the water race traversed the western slopes of Birnies and Jones Gullies then onto Jones / Parcell Gully ridge. This route was very prone to skips and the water race frequently blew out. |
| 2569 | c1920 | General notes. | It may have been about this time that the water race was moved to the eastern side of Birnie's Gully and a 7" diameter (180 mm) pipeline was constructed in the present location using old riveted steel mining pipes. |

( Note - at this point decimal currency was in use and it may have been $700 ) |
