|2699||1872||Mine location.||Shepherds Creek, in the western slope of terrace, on southern corner of the intersection of (Tom's) Gully Road and the Bannockburn-Nevis Road. The site of the portal is still visible but is closed off. There are two raised tipheads remaining in the roadside paddock.|

This may have been location #240. It appears from mine reports that the name given to this mine by James Lawrence was 'Wallsend'|
