| 3008 | 1916 | David purchased the property in Bannockburn. | David purchased a property of 170 acres in the upper part of the Bannockburn Valley, known as Happy Valley. The couple made their home here in dwelling #290 which they had built. Initially a large area was planted in fruit trees, however the property was mainly run as a dairy farm with the fruit trees being finally removed. |
