3259 c1931-c1935 General notes. A group of subsidised miners were mining for gold in the area. Charlie Scott recalls them as being : Jim McGlashin, (Hoppy) Simpson and Bob Stevenson (a man with a club foot). Bob Stevenson was tunneling in the area directly opposite the Smiths Gully intersection. See location #422.
