3563 1893 Mine location. Lower Shepherds Creek, on the western side, approx 1km upstream from the Kawarau River. Opposite the Pryde & Moore 'Kawarau Coal Pit' (location #183). This area now forms part of the picnic area in the Bannockburn Inlet of Lake Dunstan.
3564 1893 General notes. Very little is known about this mine. J C Parcell, in Heart of the Desert mentions : Edward McNulty was working his mine on the other side of Shepherds Creek to Pryde & Moore. Edward Evans applied for a lease in the same locality.
