Alexander Horn was living in Wanaka and working as a storeman.

1548 1885 Marriage of Alexander and Flora

On Dec 19 1885, Alexander Horn (1), aged 26 years married Flora McIvor, aged 18 years. The marriage took place in the dwelling of Mr William Thomas Graham (in Cromwell?). The officiating minister was the Rev. J L Blackie and the witnesses were James Horn of Bannockburn and Margaret Graham of Cromwell.

It is not clear when Alexander Horn and his new bride moved from Pembroke to Bannockburn, or when dwelling #105 was built. It was possibly built by Mr George Bottcher of dwelling #103. However, Mr Horn played for the Bannockburn Football Team in 1888.

1552 1890 Alexander took over as the store manager.
