1960 1935 Thomas Lawrence returned from Oturihua.

Mr Tom Lawrence returned from Oturihua where he was working at the Golden Progress mine. Mr and Mrs Lawrence lived with their son Ted and his family in dwelling #106.
1961 1938 The original hut (dwelling #84) was extended.

Thomas Lawrence purchased dwelling #84 and extended it. The original hut of Mr Halliday may have become the lounge*. 2 bedrooms and a kitchen were added. The extended dwelling #84 became dwelling #128. (* according to Mrs Mary Valk (Lawrence))
1962 Thomas Lawrence prospecting on the Carrick Range.

Tom Lawrence and Jim Menzies spent some time prospecting on the Carrick Range. They would spend al week living in a tent, and on the weekend, Tom's son (Ted) would collect them in his Chevrolet one ton truck (Berty).
1963 1941 Death of Thomas Lawrence

Mr Tom Lawrence died on 17 May at the age of 68 years. He is buried in the Cromwell cemetery. Mrs Lawrence continued to live in dwelling #128 after his death.
1964 1943 Death of Mrs Elizabeth Jane Lawrence.

Elizabeth Jane Lawrence died on 14 Sep 1943. She is buried with her husband in the Cromwell cemetery.
