The Bible Christian minister, the Rev. Frederick Quintrell arrived in Cromwell in April 1890. He toured the entire area of Bendigo, Lowborn, Bannockburn and Nevis. In September 1890 the publication "The Bible Christian" recorded that the Rev. Quintrell was living in Bannockburn. It may be that the Rev. Quintrell was boarding with the Ball family - or he may have lived in dwelling #67. |
